Tropical Mango & Sweet Strawberry Smoothie!

Who else wants to visit the tropics right now?! While most of us cannot transport ourselves there non-magically or magically for that matter, you can certainly spice up your life with more tropical fruity fun (and bright colors!) by preparing this delicious vegan tropical mango and sweet strawberry smoothie. And you can do so using totally organic frozen and non-frozen fruity ingredients! You are going to adore how speedy it is to prepare this tropical mango and sweet strawberry drink in your blender. Our blenders may not actually be magical, but they sure can blend lots of fruits extremely quickly, which is rather wonderful for those of us who are extremely busy and do not want to spend much time in the kitchen. I for one cannot say that I do not enjoy my time in the kitchen (duh, I have a food & healthy-lifestyle blog), but I recognize that many people on planet earth do not share my love affair with the culinary arts. For those of you who are strapped for time and/or do not want to spend more than a few minutes preparing delish food, say hello to this fast, nutritious and delicious smoothie recipe. Not only does it taste crazy good, but it is also a treat for our nutrient-craving, chemical hatin’ bodies. This smoothie is 100% FRUIT-SWEETENED, SUGAR-FREE & DAIRY-FREE and for those of you who like to eat lots of raw foods, this smoothie is 100% RAW. Hehe can you just imagine drinking a smoothie that wasn’t raw?! How funny to imagine that! I’m sure that we can all agree that smoothies were meant to be enjoyed chilled, a dash icy and very, very refreshingly delicious. Enjoy!

For the Tropical Mango Smoothie:

2 cups organic frozen mango
½ cup coconut water or regular water
1 large ripe banana
1 medjool date, pitted
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

For the Sweet Strawberry Smoothie:

2 cups organic frozen strawberries
½ cup coconut water or regular water
1 large ripe banana
1 medjool date, pitted
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Directions:

Prepare smoothies separately! You don’t want to mix them up until you pour them into your bowl or smoothie cup!

Purée all ingredients in a blender on high until smooth and blend baby blend! Top with fresh mint leaf and any other fresh fruit you love! XO
